Located 18Km from the city of Bidar in north Karnataka, the Blackbuck Resort is concealed behind a barren facade. Tranquility is the calling of this place which finds a sweet spot between the Honnikeri Reserve Forest and the Vilaspur Lake. Free roaming blackbucks abound in the surrounding grasslands, giving the resort its name. You can savour the unique experience of trailing blackbucks on foot and watch them disappear into thickets. Its not just the blackbucks, even peacocks that make a sudden appearance can spring a surprise or two. Blackbuck trails and nature walks amidst birds talks are a great way to spend early mornings and late evenings. Coracle rides (subject to availability of water) in the placid lake offer a close-to-nature experience and a good opportunity to spot birds that hover around looking for their next meal. A walk down the memory lane by visiting the historical monuments in Bidar city will take you to the pages of history of Bahmanid Dynasty. The surroundings are lush and the weather is at its best between October and February. This is also a good time for birdwatching and outdoor activities. The summer months from March to mid June are dry and sultry. However, the night is quite cool and pleasant during March- June also. The heat dissipates after showers in the months of July, August and September. All requests for cancellations of confirmed bookings have to be received in writing at our office in Bangalore.
Cancellation charges:
2. 50% of the tariff, if less than two weeks before check-in-date.
3. No refund less than two working days before check-in-date (not inclusive of the check-in-date).
