On the banks of the River Tungabhadra is Hampi, an erstwhile seat of power and capital of the once mighty Vijayanagar Empire. Ruins of a lost empire and monuments that are still standing are a mute testimony of an era bygone. Musical pillars and the stone chariot at the Vittala Temple Complex and the renowned With plentiful thorn scrub vegetation and boulders strewn acorss its contours, the Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary is home to many free ranging sloth bears. You can enjoy a session of 'bear watching' from the watchtower perched atop a hillock. The sanctuary is also home to hyenas, wild boars, black-naped hares, pangolins, porcupines, jackals and leopards. The 8 Km drive through the forest presents an opportunity to sight several species of birds including endemic species like painted spur fowl and yellow-throated bulbuls and dry land specialties like sand grouse, quails, sirkeer malkohas and stone-curlews. Bookings made without payment , will be held purely on a tentative basis. Such blocked reservation will hold good for seven days, if its is less than 60 days from check-in date; three days, if it is less than 30 days from check-in date and one day, if it is less than seven days from check-in date.

All requests for cancellations of confirmed bookings have to be received in writing at our office in Bangalore.
