Bhagawathi Nature Camp is located inside the Kudremukh National Park. The camp offers a great starting point for many treks with great incamp birding and herping. It is 11 kms away from Kudremukh.
It is a limitless mosaic of golden grass lands, studded in rims of dark green sholas, held aloft by verdant evergreen rain forests which look like sky islands. It is also an important catchment area where three important rivers Tunga, Bhadra and Nethravathi originate. Surrounded on all sides by equally enchanting forests, coffee, cardamom and areca grove fields, the park truly offers endless pleasure to any visitor looking for nature at its best. The steady humming sounds of cicadas from deep inside the jungle and the melodious bird calls mix harmoniously with the giggling of streams and soft sounds of perennial rivers to create that perfect aura.

Banglore to Bhagavathi Nature camp:https://goo.gl/maps/gYzkBHgWKFRboB8G8
The Indian monsoon broke several records in 2017, especially here in Karnataka. As usual, discussions about rain took center stage again. With too much rain, the pain of inadequate infrastructure hits city dwellers. Too little rain and the crops are under threat. That same year, an important festival coincided with a weekend and almost everyone I knew seemed to be traveling somewhere.
Rain is grace; rain is the key condescending to the earth; without rain, there would be no life” As above quote says without rain there would be no life…..since I am belongs to coastal area have spend a lot of time with rain from childhood….We have only two seasons Mansoon and Summer.
Bhagavathi Nature Camp in Kudremukh, Karnataka, is situated about 23 km from the nearest town of Kalasa. This was our base for a week during our Volunteer Training Program, run by the Karnataka Ecotourism Development Board (KEDB) and Jungle Lodges and Resorts (JLR) along with the help of the Karnataka Forest Department personnel.
